I flew alot of sims with these in them, they were 1 step up from a stuka as far as Hurricane/Spit bait

pretty sad when your fighter needed a fighter to protect it

Not a good place to be if there are any Spitfires or Hurricanes around.

It's said they were quite effective as night fighters when equipped with radar and flying against the British bomber streams, or in the ground attack role on the eastern front. They just had to find the proper role for them.
