Somewhere, this guys government handler is probably being dumped into a river right now due to his "mission failed" report.

Yep was thinking the same thing. Didn't get him on enough drugs.
What I see on the floor looks like a Mini or ranch rifle mutation. Look at the connection point on the stock.
Not an AR.

Correction, Updated image conforms it was an AR, with some odd barrel band.

Well they've wanted to arm the TSA agents at the terminal entryways for a long time. This will do it. Problem, reaction, solution (that always enhances tyranny).

Indeed. And I've already come across various folks on right wing blogs/news sites no less, defending TSA searches as a result of this shooting. "They're just doing their job" and "well at least they're working instead of getting a free obamaphone".

I don't want to see people killed but how can anyone defend the TSA's "security" actions at this point? I'm supposed to now respect them because two agents got shot by a nutjob or false flag planted nut job?

The first thing I saw when I saw the picture of the scene with the gun on the floor was... hmm, guess a magazine capacity ban didn't do much to stop this guy coming in with a 30 rounder.

As predicted. Solution = increase state powers, tyranny - TSA union calls for armed guards at every checkpoint

If the shooter acts like a zombie, isn't allowed to make any public statement or barely be seen, etc, be was probably just one in an endless supply of patsies. Many unprogrammed people hate the TSA though of course, maybe a father who didn't like watching his daughter being molested. Who knows.

The only thing for sure is while the sheep sleep, gov will take every advantage.

Everyone knows by now that a bomber, patsy or nut that will serve a purpose by wreaking havoc on a plane will indeed get an official escort onto the plane, therefore making the whole TSA thing useless anyway. Just ask the shoe guy.

The article up today on MSN also is pushing the "anti-government patriot movement".

And with the push for TSA to be armed, isn't that also the gov't saying/admitting the existing police can't be everywhere and can't respond quick enough, so the TSA should be armed to protect themselves? Hmmm, sounds like the same thing we've been saying about police response and OUR protection for quite a while.

But, they (Government) will never take it that direction.

LAX gunman allegedly had plan; Feinstein trots out ban agenda

The Associated Press reported this morning that alleged Los Angeles International Airport gunman Paul Anthony Ciancia, apparently intended his attack to "kill a Transportation Security Administration officer and show how easy it is to get a gun into an airport."

I shoot M&P pistols. Now this "snappy dresser" is going to go after scary looking guns AND ones with names that are too scary for civilians to own. Why does the MSM have to run to this dingbat to get a lesson on gun violence? She is truly revolting in every sense. Legal to own in California? Oh brother. Cross another gun off the CA list of approved scary things, DiFi said so.
