I did say that. I have a fat boy jr I got on a Black Friday sale for 899. Dial combo. It's a of bang for the buck for someone that lives in town

Just trying trying to be helpful. The digital combo add a lot to the price the less then 800 market you really need to do your homework. Try to get one with external hingers

Depends on what you're trying to protect your investment from. It's nice to know that kids and fire won't be getting in, even if it's not safe from the accomplished burglar.
A $600 safe is much better than nothing. Especially for people with kids in the house.

That said, you definitely do get what you pay for.

But, if you haven't, check Costco. They have/had a Winchester safe in that range that I've been meaning to look at for occasional over-spill.
