The option to move out of the state, came on the table for me after the recent swing to leftist gun control agenda was passed in WA a couple years ago. With the defacto handgun registration through DOL, and the continuing legislation and expansion of prohibited persons, I feel that sooner or later we are going to end up in a place where if you have ever looked at someone sideways or disobeyed a direct order from a government official, didn't eat your vegetables or ever took prescription pain killers, you are now a prohibited person. I mean look at the lautenretard amendment; retroactively applied to people who pled to simple misdemeanor, and bam, years later some new law is enacted that took all of their gun rights away, permanently, for grabbing their kids arm.

Considering we all know what happens after disarmament, I don't plan to stick around to be slaughtered or live in a world where I'm taxed to death when half the country doesn't work, so I can support criminals on welfare, in prisons, and a militarized and corrupt government where "we can have it, the criminals will have it because they are criminals, but you the tax paying citizen who goes to work to pay for everything, cannot have it" prevails.

You do realize Mexico doesn't really have spectacular gun laws? I'm curious, what will you defend yourself with? A spork? As many guns as there are out there, it will basically become an environment where only criminals and cops have guns.

Czech republic is probably second best for gun laws to the US. It is a "shall issue" country CHL for foreigners for NATO countries.

The best plan seems like it would be to simply hide your guns in the bush near your small cabin in the woods, quit working, only come into town to collect your welfare check and buy some essentials...spend your days gardening, fishing, poaching etc...
...Basically just stay where you are, and act Mexican.

So in other words your gonna tuck tail? Then you have inevitably aided and abetted the enemy (the other side) and helped them kill our 2A.
Does that sound like your plan????
    Why are you even here?

If it hits a point where they try to confiscate - that's the time the Founders had in mind when they drafted the 2nd. If you don't intend to fight when the bullets start flying - I'd get out now before it hits that point. My wife and I are discussing options for when Oregon goes super left and tries to out California California. We won't be giving up our US citizenship or leaving the country though. Where would you go? Canada has crummy gun laws and you won't be carrying a gun with you anywhere. Mexico has worse gun laws and you're likely to run afoul of people who will murder you or kidnap you thinking your gringo relatives have money to ransom you for. South America? There's a reason millions of migrants are trying to get here legally or illegally - South America and Central America are pretty much ****holes.

Europe? Closer to ISIS, more restrictive in almost every way, with a few exceptions.

Israel? Still worse gun laws than the US, and you stand a much better chance of being sliced, stabbed, shot, or blown up by a muslim terrorist than you do here. Africa? Take your pick - inhospitable desert, or war torn third world countries. South Africa is fairly developed, but violence is pretty terrible. SO terrible people build flame throwers into their cars and build fortresses around their houses.

    India, "Pok-E-Stohn", China, Mongolia?

    Japan? Korea?

If you want to be left alone you can move to Alaska's bush and be self sufficient. Even if CONUS goes to crap - Alaska will be pretty much left alone. They are now. It's not like the 3rd Infantry Division is going to be sweeping Alaska looking for gun toting hold outs.

We may be on the titanic but in the world sea, we're still the best boat on the ocean right now. So where will you go? At some point I think the choice will be to become a patriotic outlaw, or give up roll over and become a serf to the dictator in chief of the Socialist Federation of Amerika.

If it gets bad I think you'll see movement state to state and then civil war, as patriots gather in one area and the socialists/communists in another. Unfortunately for the gun grabbers, I'm hoping the majority of our armed forces and veterans will stand with us, leaving people that are gun phobic and a few military people and some police officers to try to confiscate and overpower. Won't go well for them until the NWO UN troops show up to blast hell out of us, but by that time Putin will have sent us all the big guns, planes and tanks we need. Of course we'll have to deal with him after the dust settles but that's how it goes, it can be done.

Hmmm, that's a bit harsh. Voting with your feet is a perfectly respectable way of dealing with a country going rotten. However I don't think you will find much better elsewhere, and it's not a good thing to be an outsider when the world economy crashes.

Also, things aren't so bad on the gun front. The bastards are passing laws, but people are learning to ignore them. Even in New York, for Pete's sake. I think even conservatives are getting over their fetish of being law-abiding. :)

If it gets to the point of confiscation I can assure you it will spark a civil war.

While our rights are being restricted, Ill aid in the fight any way I can before thinking of relocation.
