Maybe... but then, wouldn't it be a little short-sighted on the gun-manufacturers' part? They get a temporary boost in sales (however significant that boost may be), but if bans do start rolling out, it's only a matter of time before it becomes bad for business.

Gun manufacturers know that bans are good for business, and they also know that no Congress or Executive branch would survive a serious removal of firearms as a whole from peoples' hands. Maybe some itmes, sure, but not a flat out firearm ban. Even the manufacturers think the hardcores that think so are tinfoil hatters.

Of course the revisions in carry laws, as well as McDonald v Chicago, and/or the Heller/DC case have nothing to do with it.

It's all because of hysteria, racism and the tin-foil hat paranoid types that hate obama. (yeah right)

MSNBC and bloomberg need to take some of the revenue from their lefty subscribers and buy themselves a clue.

Well it seems that manufacturers does not secretly love the left...or the right for that matter. They love good business. When times are goods sales goes up and so do prices. When time are difficult, looming ban or the threat of a ban, sales goes up and so do the prices. when was the last time you saw prices decline after a hike due to hysteria?
