I take a slightlu different view: I dont debate with idiots to try and change their minds. I argue with them so OTHERS can clearly see that they, and their positions, are idiots.

Liking guns doesn't have anything to do with how they vote.
Maybe left-leaning is their religion.
Maybe there are aliens around here.

My conclusion is that everybody is bat-guano crazy.
