I assure you there is a strong group of people in the Democratic party that support gun rights and are gun owners. We like leaders that are strong on all our rights, liberals are big on personal freedoms and fight government or corporation when they attempt to take them away.

Maybe so, but very little power to influence the DNC gun grabbers.

The Brady Gun group gave Obama solid F's for his first year, and that is good. I don't know why you would think that the armed 40% of Democrats have little influence? It seems to me so, far the right has no legitmate complaints on Obama in relation to the 2nd.

Your talking about the joint resolution to authorize the use of military force in Iraq that was passed in the house and senate. However, this resolution was violated by Bush before he began shock and awe on two fronts. One, he didn't bother trying to work with the UN on it, and two he went beyond enacting UN sanction when he asked Saddam and Son's to surrender, and the resolution capped the limts of force at enacting UN resolutions. So, the only power this resolution has is as a right wing talking point.

I only brought up the war to show the difference between an action that is both expensive and costly in lives for a purpose that is a pipe dream, and mentioning Mao in a high school graduation speech. It is from that contrast that I say, "Is that all you got?".

Beck is pro gun and trying to get enough information out to people so they can see where the progressives are taking us. If you had more than average comprehension you could see what's happening. I am to the point where I waste no more time trying to tell people. I got things to prepare for.

Homes,

food,
clothes,
internet,
color TV's,
cell phones,
Cigarettes,
Recreational drugs,
Alcohol,
education
and free health care.

Our poor are doing quite well!

Nobody in the media has our best interests in mind, only ratings. You know that these shows only exist because they make money. Beck may support gun rights, but he does not make the laws nor does he directly influence those who do. He knows exactly what to say to get people fired up and get ratings while not truly doing anything. People who watch him already agree with him and he won't be winning over his detractors.

You want to know what is really happening with the world of gun rights, stop listening to profit and ratings driven television and pay attention to what our politicians are doing every day. Write your representatives and find out what they really stand for. These people are on the front lines fighting for our rights and that is what matters.

I do not like Beck at all, but I am not your enemy. We are all on the same side of gun control so let's show some respect.

I am not at all in favor of fence sitters. People should have the honor to join one side or the other and stand for the principles that the sides offer. I also can't stand people who tell me what NOT to listen to, that's socialism and pc to an extreme. Free men listen to debate and cowards run from it.

I read and study alternate views and see how socialism isn't what this country needs. We don't need others telling us how to live our lives. Beck is a point of view that stands behind the constitution and our gun rights. I don't care if he makes money doing so. That is capitalism and capitalism is what made the country strong.

Becks detractors haven't put a couple million people in the streets of DC to bring sanity back to government. Becks detractors are the cause of the insanity. You may not like Beck but he tells the truth.

Funny thing about Beck is he brings to the first of the show what his detractors have said he lies about then points out with his on tapes that his detractors are liars. Step by step with his blackboard he proves what he says is true and uses people own words that have been taped to show he is truthfull

It's just like your rebuttle here, your simplistic average view is if he got it wrong that it's a shovel and not a hammer then he lies all the time. You will sift through reams of material that is so damaging to progressives and try to find that one mistake to call him a liar. You can't see the forest for the trees

No need to check when Beck allways brings forward what is said about him. Besides the progressive strategy is to destroy the messenger with all the lies possible just to win. Progressives will do anything to win and if it keeps going the way it is you are going to see a world you deserve

GLENN BECK IS "CONTROLLED OPPOSITION".

He is not your friend, nor is he on OUR side. The same people that own him (along with Fox news) also own all of the liberal news outlets around the globe. I can see where this would usually be true. However, Beck has had these same points of view and the same passion long before he ever became famous. He was plugging away at these issues prior to being aired on any big network.

In his original post, Just Jim was merely letting people know what was on TV. Sure, he used the "L" word, and that's going to ruffle some feathers, but that wasn't his intent.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Clearly, there are a lot of us who don't see eye to eye politically.

I don't think the intent of the OP was to start a debate over whether or not Glen Beck is right, wrong, or whatever. It was to alert interested viewers that a show discussing gun rights was going to be on TV.

Here's the cool thing about TV- if you don't like it, you don't have to watch it.
