Dude was forced into early retirement for sticking his gun where it didn't belong. He has zero integrity. Wouldn't surprise me if his bank account grew from some "donations" prior to this written testimony.

If this is the caliber of officer representing our marines…hell, maybe China will win the next one.

And rifling causes the bullet to tumble... and plastic grips make it more lethal... but at the same time useless for self defense

Col Craig Tucker is either a fing idiot or he will say whatever the people who pay for his "expert witness testimony" want. Some guys will say anything you want if you pay them enough.

Average fee for witness testimony is $500 per hour including all preparation and research time. He probably got paid $20,000 - $50,000 to say this.

Just another REMF proving that not everybody in the military handles weapons and not every officer behaves with honor.

He either knowing lied or he spoke as an expert on a subject he knows nothing about. He should lost the right to use "Colonel (retired)" in conjunction with his name. A bunch of real Marines need to get a blanket and a bar of soap and explain the concept of honor to this jack off.

He must be closely related to the actual head honcho of the 'Specialist Firearms Unit and Forensic Science Laboratory' belonging to An Garda Síochána - the Irish state police force, who, giving evidence under oath in a trial a while back, proclaimed that -

1. A .308 calibre rifle can easily kill at a range of over five miles.

2. It is perfectly possible for an average marksman to hit and kill another human being at five miles or more.

3. A .44cal rifle is far more deadly, and at far longer ranges, than any military rifle currently in service with the state*. Many people have been killed in Afghanistan by bullets shot from guns like these...it is a measure of the calibre that makes it so deadly...the larger the calibre, the more deadly the firearm will be. That is why any underlever rifle, like a .38/357 or .44cal 'Western-style' rifle is RESTRICTED to experienced shooters.

4. According to the SI**, the .308cal rifle is more deadly than the .......303cal rifle...for the reasons I gave above. So .308cal rifle is therefore RESTRICTED and requires a more experienced shooter to qualify for ownership that the .303cal, which is obsolete everywhere.

*the state in question is the Republic of Ireland - the service rifle is the Steyr AUG.
