He worked for ONE if not more of Bloomberg's anti gun groups too.

He associates himself with a LOT of anti gun and BIG TIME GUN CONTROL GROUPS!

The man's WORK HISTORY is something else.

WTC early attack.

FBI - OKC.

Etc.

kinda makes you wonder if his spot on that position is a big sign saying that if you chose not to comply, we are going to send in our storm troopers like we did at Waco

Who did you guys think he was going to nominate, the ghost of Charlton Heston? One of the BATFE's primary purposes is to regulate firearms, so this guy is an obvious pick.

..Or like putting someone from MADD in charge of the OLCC.

The guy is a zealot with an axe to grind.. long history with the anti-gun lobby.

This does not serve the public interest. This serves the interest of a very specific group of people.

Not one more f'ing inch! Its time we write ALL of our gun manufactures AND ammo manufacturers and DEMAND an open letter stating they will refuse to sell to ANY domestic governments if our civilian gun rights are further limited and not restored or they will be boycotted.
Its time we the consumer start taking charge of the situation and stop relying on lobbyist and lawyers.
We need to let them go bankrupt if they dont comply and they/we need to realize that a gun or ammo company going bankrupt these days would take a miracle to reopen or get loans/insurance etc. Once its done its done.
And we NEED to let that happen. It would require grass roots funding and kickstarting on a fairly massive level to reopen or start another one.
I would be 100% ok with our state and fed gov running out of bullets. Maybe we could finally cut their budget just once.

Hilarious.
An obvious anti-gun lobbyist pick to head THE major firearms regulatory agency.
The US Senate needs to block this nomination, post-haste.

They likely wont. Remember, the GOP balked at Trump's pick, leaving Lombardo as a continuing "interim" director

Edit. Its likely Chipman gets confirmed, even if by a narrow margin in Senate; however the fact that he's being considered.... expect certain classes of firearms to become "illegal" and for ATF to start raiding companies and places .

I said what the Senate should do, you claim it's likely they won't but offer no reasoning or evidence of why they will approve his nomination.

In fact the ATF should be disbanded and it's areas of responsibility rolled into the FBI, but that won't happen under any Democrat. Maybe under the right Republican.

It should be noted that Chipman does meet Biden's standards. We now have an energy secretary who is against affordable energy, a transportation secretary who is against efficient travel, and perhaps soon an ATF director who wants to gut Second Amendment protections.
