Remember THIS guy at Waco?

Chipman confirmed would be an American version of Reinhard Heydrich.

Simple but not cheap fix... round up every possible photo from Waco, round up current photos of everyone logged as or claiming to have been there, and start running 'em through facial recognition software looking for matches.

Simpler still. Any and every ATF employee and agent who was around for the Waco thing.. are just as guilty. Use the Anti-gun groups' same logic that has been used against us gunowners.
Waco is the answer to the question: the 2A is a check against the power of the government.

Sorry, but no private militia is really even on the same level as the Feds. $700 billion a year in the finest weapons money can buy will quickly overpower anyone and anything.

I wouldn't bee so sure of that. I was directly involved in a little dust up in SE Asia in the late 60's/early 70's and distinctly remember that we had the most advanced weapons and best trained combat troops. But we still got our a55es handed to us any number of times by an enemy that, for the most part, was believed at the time to be inferior in every way.

Things to think about...

All that and we still couldn't completely demolish the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, ISIS  even after near 20 years of being in Afghanistan and over 15 years in Iraq...

And add the NVA and Viet Cong

When some idiot says the government has tanks and jets so our firearms would be useless I ask them who won when the USSR invaded Afghanistan. If our government didn't have the will to unleash total warfare in Viet Nam or Afghanistan do you really think they would do it on American cities if a civil war broke out?
