I was reading 'gun wrapper' and thought ,what a good idea,using the waxed paper for fire starter

I have used a gum wrapper as a make shift fuse back when we had the old glass automotive ones. The fire starter is way cooler though.

LOL, I too have wrapped the little "buss" fuses with foil type materials to get by in a pinch.

I remember one night watching my dad suddenly jump out of his lawn chair and dance around the campfire grabbing his nuts and yelling about them being on fire.
He had accidentally put one of those large round watch batteries in his shorts pocket along with a couple of nickles and a stick of gum.
I almost fell out of my chair laughing so hard.

Glass fuse Yes am old enough to remember and do that I personally like the old plastic and ceramic ones that used to come in the VWs.

And that is a neat little trick with the wrapper am going to have to try it now.
