Had to do the math on this twice. Using figures in the article, they are costing a little less than $3 million per copy. The civilian version goes for $12 million new, 5 to 6 million used. Is DoD getting a good deal or underestimating?

I get roughly 28 million per copy. That price should include some training, a couple simulators, and initial parts.

Check the article. It's a troop transport, not an attack helo. Doesn't look like the video is related to the article.
