I enjoy reloading on my Dillon 550B and Hornady Lock n Load and trusty old Herters single stage presses. Registered a little over a year ago with NW Firearms and am glad to finally have completed the account set up!

Welcome! I too am near Vancouver-in Washougal. For what calibers do you reload? I typically do the basics (9,45,223) and am going to start on 30-06 for a Garand when the chronograph shows up.

I load .45ACP, 9mm Lug., .44 mag., .357 mag, .38 spl, 40 S&W, .380ACP, .243 Win., .223, 30-06, .338 Win. mag, 300 Win. mag., 45-70 Govt, .22-250, .204 Ruger, .308 Win., 7mm mag and 30-30 Win.

I enjoy shooting 50 BMG as well, but have not tooled up to load yet...fortunately my father loads 50 BMG along with several more calibers than I am currently set up for. I am tooled for .45 Colt, but don't have anything to shoot it with unless I take a trip to Idaho to break rocks with my father.

You'll like having the chronograph; it sure helps when developing loads with surplus drop down powder as well as refining your existing recipes!

Ya'll wouldn't be interested in helping a newbie get started would ya? I'm hoping Santa is good to me this year. I've been hinting for a Dillon 550 or 560. We'll see. I want to get into it because I shoot odd rounds and NEED to reload. If willing, please pm me. Many thanks!

Very nice! I swore when I started I was going to minimize calibers primarily to avoid having lots of different powders on hand or tons of bullets. But I've recently added .380 and am looking to try to reload 7.62x54R. These dang guns keep multiplying!

Happy to share some notes with you. Reloading is really the only way to go if you are shooting any volume at all, particularly if you shoot odd calibers...too expensive to buy off the shelf, plus accuracy of factory ammo doesn't even come close to hand loads with respect to tightening your groups up!
