Went with my son yesterday so he could buy his first rifle, a Remington 870 Express 12 ga pump. He was really pumped as well as it was his very first gun purchase. He is going to COCC to take their Fire Sciences/Medic program. I suspect he'll be signing up on this site as well.
I retired from Deschutes County Sheriff's Office in 2000 and started another sideline career in Information Technology. I'm also a veteran from the USAF where I worked as a Security Policeman in the missile field.
I would like to find a place to take my son shooting other than the public range out on 20 East. Somewhere with rats and chucks.....
Is there any public land where we can shoot critters?
