So do I...
It's not far away for me...but for most folks here on the forum it's a trip for sure.

That said...
It is a excellent rendezvous...maybe not the National's or PPR...but a good fun time for sure.

Oh....
We finally got an okay ...
We did this in 2019 and 2021 and it was a big hit...

A small group of us will be walking in , as well as doing a "show and tell" along the way to the rendezvous site.

Our walk will start Saturday the 13th at 9.00 am at Bowman Bay...
We will travel to and across Deception Pass Bridge ( Its a mother beautiful bridge :D )
And plan on arriving at the State Park Amphitheater around 11.00 am to give a demonstration and answer questions.

So ifin' y'all see me and some folks like this :
Come on over and say Howdy.
Andy

Well a lot of fun was had.
Yours truly came in 2nd place in the rifle competition...'course there was only two shooters.... :D

Both my display and the walk into the rendezvous were well received.
Lots of questions...lots of answers and showing of how to shoot a muzzle loader.
I also put in some "plugs" for :
Firearm safety...
NWFA...
And cleaning up after yourself and others at shooting areas.

I did get to see @EPS and @Melmelhunter
Always great to see y'all....thank you for coming on out.

Always nice to see you too Andy! ☺️

ask @Andy54Hawken .
Hey you saw that 44 caliber I bought at the Rendezvous.
How much powder should I use.
I have ff and fff .
My 36 caliber I use 20 to 25 grains.
I'm thinking 30 to 35 for the 44 to start out.
Is that a good start.

We are going to Greens tomorrow.
Around noon if you're in the area come and shoot with us.
Going to shoot some pistols and 22s .
Black powder guns also.

@ EPS
I'd use 20 -25 with that .44...the brass frame might be be better suited to a lighter load than a steel frame .
30 grains might be about all that cylinder can load , along with a .451 -.454 round ball.....
Andy
