Grafting Apple and pear trees.

I am trying to work on my orchard and reproduce some of my Apple and pear trees
So I ordered rootstock and materials for grafting my existing trees and creating more back in March, it just showed up.
I am curious if anyone knows if it is too late to graft my rootstock and if not what do I do with my rootstock? I am new to this but am trying to learn I would greatly appreciate any knowledge thank you.
