I'm not sure if my military retirement is considered extravagant or not. At any rate, I will be pleasantly surprised to keep drawing it for much longer. I've been watching gov finances for years, and will not be surprised the day the check quits coming. Not gonna be happy about it, but not gonna cry either.

Was at a 40 year Class reunion last night and many of the attendees had retired on government pensions after working only 30 years. Non government workers must work till they are 65 to pay government pensions. It will stop as people can't afford what government pays itself.

I am in firm agreement that the military pensions should be paid at all cost. The sacrifice they make far exceeds any buearacrats. Hope the people come through for you.
