All being said and done not bad for a $70 rifle with and old surpluss ammo!

I think this just may be a keeper.

Here's a little secret that IIRC worked for that particular rifle/me...

Try shooting with the bayonet extended. My old roomate and I were hitting clays at ~75 yards pretty easily. I read somewhere online that the balance of the rifle is setup to be shot with the bayo extended. I know the Russians had the bayo out in every situation other than transport.
