Yes, Congrats! I missed my standing broadside shot a 75 yards this year. Next year will actually go to the range before the season! Have lots of elk pics and video from my property. Digital soup doesn't taste very good. Send me a pepperoni stick?

Congratulations! Its not been a good year for hunting I am told, too dry for the deer season, so I hope hunters have more success with Elk now that we have some wet weather.

Here you go sheepdip, hepner 1 st season one bull tag. Shot 7:45 am opening morning 100 yard broadside slightly down hill 1 shot drop. Skinned, bagged and out of camp by 2:15 that after noon. Big thanks to my dad he didn't even have a tag and still went with me, couldn't have done it with out him.

    Very cool!
I have hunted Heppner quite a bit. I usually camp at Divide Wells and just hut all over the area. What part of the unit did you get this in?

I drew a branch bull tag this year. And got a decent shot on a heck of a bull. Defiantly the hunt of my life.

I also had the hunt of a lifetime! After a 7 hour stalk, I shot this herd bull.
