People have paid a lot more for 50 year old Land Cruisers. I've seen asking prices near $80K for a frame up restored 40 series.

I paid $18K for a 26 year old Hilux, then flew to Montana to drive it home. Since most Hiluxes of that era go for $5K-$10K more than that, I considered it a smokin' deal. It took me almost a year to find an XCb 4WD diesel powered manual trans Hilux - most are dual cabs with a 4-5' bed (my bed is 6' long).

Most Hi Aces are not pickups, but full vans, so that pickup is rare.

ETA: that is a manual transmission rig too.

Kewl rig - had I seen that before I bought my Hilux I would be looking at it. The benefit of the Hi Ace pictured is that it probably has a 6' bed, dual cab, and because it is COE its wheelbase is shorter than my XCab. With the COE the approach angle is better than my Hilux, same goes for the bed & departure angle. Not that I would be rock crawling or mud bogging it, but it would be a great camping rig.

If you want stealth, here it is:

Change out the wheels/tires to something less obvious, maybe paint it brown and get some UPS decals?

Leave it white. Add ladder racks. Commercial black steel wheels with military style mud cleaners or whatever it was they could have had for rural vehicles. A fake business phone number and bam no one thinks of it as anything except contractors

Sewage cleaner business or something similar.

Might just dissuade scum bags from breaking in to look for tools…

UPS & Amazon trucks travel my private road up here on the mountain almost every day, so pretty ubiquitous, but whatever works for you.

But UPS, Amazon, any courier service may attract package thieves and hijackers looking to score whatever in the vehicles for resale or fencing.
Yah, my thinking as well.

Failed society & courier truck? Could advertise "worthwhile" goods. (Of course about "anything" could be deemed suchly, however I'm thinking of what could be "prime" targeting vs "meh")
