Okay, So I'm planning to do another AR build but I want to do it in a pistol caliber. I was thinking of doing it in .40, 10mm or .45. Does anyone know of a good source for parts for a build like that.

I've had no problem finding 9mm parts for the AR but have seen nothing in the other calibers.

Olympic Arms is going to be your biggest source for that kind of stuff.

Keep in mind when dealing with Pistol cal AR's there is no "spec" meaning each company has their own design and most parts are not interchangeable.

I've seen Olympic Arms offerings and my feeling is kind of, meh. I've seen a number of companies offering parts for a 9mm build but haven't seen anything for .40 S&W, 10mm or .45. Won't it take a different magwell block with correct feed ramps. I also thought that most everything else I'd need would all fit a standard upper receiver.
