Good place to shoot near Lincoln City, OR?

I'm staying next month in Lincoln City, and would like to take some friends out for an afternoon and hopefully turn them on to firearms. Is there a decent berm or NF land nearby for plinking? This would probably be 22lr or 9mm only.

I know there's a spot on Table Mountain, and a landowner in Seal Rock who allows access, but was hoping for something closer.

Drive around Devil's Lake, look for Forest Service Road 1726 (Osterman Cabin Road) where it intersects the power-lines. Drive East on FS 1726 (3/4 mile) until you see where all the "real commandos" have been leaving their targets and trash.

There are a lot of other people in the area (cyclists, equestrian & hikers).
