They really stepped in it when they banned open carry. It left no way for a citizen to legally carry in many counties. Pretty much guaranteed that they were going to loose in court. Now someone needs to do something about their approved handgun list. After that, well there are a bunch more whack-job gun laws in that state.

I wouldn't say the majority. I met a lot of smart, reasonable people there. I think it was just that the loudest ones were often the most gullible or misguided. Might have made it seem like there were more of them.
