Yes, I spent three winters doing service plumbing out there. would be okay down near the Gorge but winter time up at elevation is brutal. My brother wants to retire out east of Trout Lake. he's crazy.

Real pretty up that way. We're up at 2200 ft, and when the wind blows....sheesh! Still...it's the price we pay for the joys of only 17" of rain a year.
