In this story, it appears ABC new uses 'Juveniles", "Teens", and "Men" to describe masked people in the report. Anyway, never a good situation, but refreshing to see "refuse to be a victim" stand their ground..

I've been reading about this episode over on sigforum - some interesting points being made, especially by a lady called LaShawn, a relative of the late thugs, who is 'wondering' how all her little darlings got themselves stiffed when all they'd done was, y'know, be kids and do kid-stuff, like dressing up in masks and carrying out attempted home invasion and armed robbery, just like everybody does at ages 14 - 16, right?

Wrong.

One of the most telling comments came from an ear-witness, who heard pop-pop-pop followed by boom-boom-boom.

Seems to be a moral there - don't bring a pop-pop gun to a boom-boom fight.

CNN reporting, what a surprise, but I bet they play up ages and not the crime. OK also tonight on Fox, Mpls, Minn. Black on whites kicking, beating, robbing, running over their white victims after beating out cold and robbing, more kicking and beating. City admits low amount of police officers and wants to hire 700 more, but the city council does not want to. Minnesota has one of the largest populations in the US of Black Muslims in that state. They believe in Sharia law. In many dense populated parts of neighborhoods, police patrols just don't patrol. The above incident however, was in the downtown area of Minneapolis. Lived there as a teen, and there wasn't anywhere that wasn't safe to be, day or night. Beginning to worry a bit with the recent attempt of the left wing politicians attempt to disarm law abiding citizens. When that's complete, just who is going to provide protection when the police are not authorized to protect you as an individual, but the community as a whole. Now with a shortage in this city, what's next. Here on the West coast it's considered a sanctuary group of states, and Brother they plan on taking your firearms. There has not been a solution of thousands at the borders along with criminals are now being released as crimes are being down graded in the state south of Oregon. With a shortage in law enforcement officers already, tell me, do you really think this a good time to allow these Demorats to disarm law abiding citizens of a right to defend themselves??? I don't either. Some how this has to be stopped! Every able body person has to vote and rid us of this super majority and Governor. Taxes go up with nothing to show for it. These gun laws are not mandated and unfunded. They are to be enforced by the State Police and Sheriff, both are under paid and under staffed and most likely isn't going to change. Their death rates continue to climb and numbers fall.

From my own experiences in court, I can advise this jury that an 'ear witness' counts for a whole LOT less than any 'eye-witness'.
