I received the book Lions of Kandahar this Christmas. I give it two thumbs up, 5 stars, a full 7 mag loadout rating (if there is such a thing

It's about a Special Forces team and it's battle with Taliban near Kandahar. Early in the book there is a story shared between the Captain of the ODA rotating in and the Captain of the ODA team leaving. The story the Captain of the team leaving shares sounded really familiar.
