    is this the same frame size as a G27?

    I believe the G29 shares the same frame as the G30 and not the G26/27s.

    Chipper XD is correct. The 29 is slightly larger than the 40 caliber 27.
    From the Glock websight;
    The 29 is 6.77 in long, 4.45 high with a barrel length of 3.78
    The 27 is 6.29 in length, 4.17 in height with a 3.46 in barrel.
    the g29 holds 10 rounds in the standard mag vs 9 rounds in the 27. Both accept higher capacity magazines from larger frame pistols of the same caliber.
