Glock G36 on a G29??

Picked up a Glock G36 today. Was wondering if I could put the slide off the 36 onto the 29, buy a couple 30 mags, and presto.... I have a G30S? Everything fits together and dry fires/cycles ok, does anyone on here know if this mix of parts will work?

I have a g30, & a g36. I have ran the g36 top half quite a bit on the g30 frame. I need to run a couple hundred more rounds through it before I trust it with my life, but It has been mostly trouble free. For some reason, It did not like one of my g21 mags. runs fine with any g30 mag.
