I dont know if the background check laws have pass or not but just want to be on the safe side with the law. Sorry if i offend anyone with the background check requirement.

I don't think anyone here would object to the $10 fee to the OSP but rather the $35-$50 that the dealer is going to demand, if you find one willing to do it.

SB941 has yet to be signed into law - there is no need for a background check to a forum member that provides an Oregon ID.

Oh okay, if the law has not changed yet, all I would require is a CHL or ODL ID.
