Glock 17 Shooting 115gr vs 147gr suppressed

Shot my Glock 17 today with a Trident 9 suppressor. I loaded some 147gr ammo and 6 rds of 115gr ammo. I wanted to see if my iphone would pick up on the sound difference. 115 gr ammo being standard 9mm ammo, most use 147gr ammo to slow the bullet down to avoid the "crack" keeping it subsonic.

The difference was very noticeable and a must for anyone wanting to take full advantage of the suppressors benefits.

Well the suppressor only takes care of half the noise of a gun shot. You have to have subsonic ammo to take care of the other half.

In my G34 I have to load 147gr bullets when using Titegroup. In my 9mm AR I am able to use 115gr bullets and stay SS.
