Given new gun control legislation in 2018 in Oregon what should be on the buy list?

I seriously don't think what's posted below would happen, but it's good to be reminded that there are plenty of folks that would be just fine and dandy with the government marching into your home and forcibly taking your lawfully owned property. Sadly, there are people on this forum that willingly cast votes for the party that would seek to do it:

Since folks are also hurt or influenced to do harmful acts by reading or listening / watching others ....
Maybe we ought to :
Go door to door and take all the books and media devices , to include computers , cell phones , religious books , tablets , Ipads , radios , etc...

After all if you are willing to have someone take away one right , the 2nd Amendment in this case ...how 'bout when someone suggests , we take away a different right...this one being the 1st Amendment....?

Take away one right and it just makes it easier to take any of the others...

Should we maybe consider changing the title to 2019 now? 2018 passed with no real changes. 2019 will be when we get hit hard here in OR - the legislature is pizzed at gun owners. The "religious leaders" and the "children" are pizzed. What should we be investing in right now? Industrial lubricant, a lot of it, because we are going to get slammed against the table like we've never been before.

On a more sober note, if you're just now starting to build up what you want/need, you are already way, way behind the curve. The time to start that was at least 2 years ago when things were relatively quiet on the gun control front. A lot of folks on this forum, including myself, issued the same warning. The worst time to buy is right before legislation is passed. Sorry for the downer, but it's true. Many folks learned their lesson after 2012, some still haven't learned.
