I'm in my 30's and haven't been deer hunting since I was in my teens with my neighbor. I went out back of his house and we sat and bullbubblegumted until a deer walked into his yard and I shot it. that was my first and last time hunting. I would like to actually learn how to hunt but am unsure how to start. I am new to the area so I don't really have any hunter friends.

So, how would you propose that I start?

TIA

Welcome. 30 ain't old to start!
Start with this.
Talk to anyone about hunting. Your in idaho and that's big time.
Figure out what you want to hunt.
Grab a .22 and hit the ground squirrels.
The quickly hunt deer this next year.
Rifle hunt.
No camo needed.
Gun, knife, ammo, rope, game bag, binos.
Go down to your fish and game office and ask questions.
Here is the most important point.
Beileve you will get something.

And enjoy the experience.
