have 5 French Jerry Cans from 1952, and 2 from 1954, in varyious stages of preparation. I had visions of refurbishing them, but I'm not going to be able to get the paint job that I wanted and I'd rather these go to someone who can do something great with them.
these each weigh alittle less than 9.5 lbs. they are super sturdy and are genuine military surplus (not Chinese knockoffs)
4 of them have already been stripped (about 95% completion). 1 of them was lightly sanded and sprayed with rust oleum. 2 are in the same condition as when I bought it. The Insides of these are immaculate, they are coated, and have never held liquid.
In the photos you will noticed a rusty color on the bare metal. That is actually paint, as the base coat (and the inside) is painted a rust color.
