I was kind of surprised to not see a general chat thread on NWFA. The other forum I frequent has a lot of good info pass through a similar thread.

To be honest, not every question or idea warrants its own thread.

I'll bite.
Favorite AR mag? Magpul PMags.

But I'm interested in other's answers being that I've only been shooting ARs for a couple of years.

Since this in the "General Firearms Discussion" sub forum - wouldn't this whole section be "General Chat"?

Moving beyond that - I like P-Mags, but I also like my metal mags. Brownells are good and cheap - but I've got metal mags from at least half dozen makers. My old Colt mags are the smoothest when dropping or inserting. I think I have an almost even split between P-Mags and metal mags.

I personally like Pmags, Lancers AWMs, and USGI.

For USGI I like:
NHMTG
D&H
Center Industries
Brownells .mil

Magpul followers and Ranger plates when possible.

Mkwerx..I think a chat thread is useful simply because a lot of things aren't worth their own thread.

For example: Found a cool shooting video on YouTube? Post it here.

Brownells having a good deal on magazines? Post it here.

Just for general BSing, too, really.
