Gen 4 Glock 22

Anybody have this happen to them I changed the sights on my Glock 22 today.
And after I put it back together.
I racked the slide a few times .
Just doing a few dry fire drills.
And something fell out.mmmmm
I picked it up it was part of the lower pin.
Completely broke .
The lower pin.
I have extra ones and replace it .

Did you disassemble the slide before installing?
It's likely all the tapping and the pin being put under pressure.

It's after market I don't remember but it was a stanless pin that I had anodized red a few years ago.
It just snapped at the point where the slide lock sits on it .
It just could be that it was worn out.

Those seem to be the aftermarket anti-walk pins. I would get the OEM Glock Gen 1-4 stock lower pins. The only lower parts worth upgrading in my opinion is the trigger.

Those seem to be the aftermarket anti-walk pins. I build my own "Glocks" and I refuse to use them. I would get the OEM Glock Gen 1-4 stock lower pins. The only lower parts worth upgrading in my opinion is the trigger.

It has a ZEV trigger in it .
And I did replace the pins .
It broke off at the spot that the slide catch sits.
So it could just have been wear on it .
Or just a bad pin.

I recommend fixing it and buying. 9mm conversion barrel plus some therapy.

Lol I just bought a 9 mm .
It basically sits in the safe.
I only carried it twice.

It was my night stand gun at one point.

I carry a Glock 19 X.
Now .
I haven't decided what I'm doing with the Glock22 yet.
I am thinking about getting rid of it .
But I don't know yet.
Lol I never sale my guns.
I just stack them up .
And I have so much stuff for it I will Never get my money back .
Three barrels the Zev trigger and fireing pin.
After market sights.
A few sets and I think I have twenty 15 round mags and two 22 round mags .
