Wow, great work. Your dog is cooler than some people I see at the range! And cute, too. Another fine example of creativity and an innovative spirit. Thank you for sharing.

Two chest rigs in basic black for prototype purposes.
Horizontal mag set up has two utility pouches, that can hold 1 100rd ammo organizer box plus tools or flat stuff, or first air kit. Is not the best for those with a round cross section, but might work good on plate carriers.
Vertical mag set up has no utility pouches (unless you consider being able to put a leatherman Multi-tool in an utility pocket lol:rolleyes: ), is designed for 4x of those Redball magazines and up to 4x factory 10rd single stack magazines for a total of 120 rds of 9mm (plus whatever reload ammo or extras are in on belt kit or rucksack)
other pic shows micro chest rig with 4x pistol mag pouches and the 4-mag bandolier for the Redball magazines, along with my 995
"Flag" patch is from another forum I am a member of.

No love for the Hi Point stuff eh.... whatever. Here's my latest rig for the Redball 20rd mags and factory mags, in 500D Cordura, Coyote colored.

Shown with coyote fishing belt kit (Minus the belt kit suspenders)... Yes, most of the pouches on it are USGI< and yes they're supposed to be Coyote.... such a variety of shades here, the chest rig will blend right in!; and against Olive Green material...and other pic shows against 330D MultiCam pattern fabric, showing that the relative bright tan straps actually darken against the Multicam fabric... I blame the brightness on camera flash...in diffused light, it looks much closer to the tan tape edges. Should blend pretty good w most hunting and tactical earth tone clothing.... works good with my camo BDU type shirts and earth toned shirts (ranging from khaki to dark tan, still lighter than coyote). Works decent with light olive colored shirts too.

I don't know what to make out of the 1 yard of 330D Cordura Multicam fabric though..any suggestions? London BRidge Trading used to make whole lightweight rigs in 330D fabric, but no longer.

The 500D rig is half the weight of the black 1000D/vinyl laminated rig.

Modified a customers plate carrier to accept a Hi Point chest rig by adding 4 1" Fastex Buckles . I can do similar modifications to other slick plate carriers so that people can direct attach fixed pouch chest rigs or a TT style MAV rig to their plate carriers as well. This rig is basically a minimalist, lightweight rig with basic plates

Double sided Indy Satchel styled range bag for SMG/PCC/pistol magazines in Coyote 500D Cordura. Upper row of elastic webbing for pistol magazines, and lower row of elastic for either 20rd Redball magazines, or any large capacity pistol magazines such as MP5 mags, MP7 mags maybe, PS90 magazines, Sten, Sterling and Glock sticks.

Last rig I made for 2016. 2 pc woodland/OD chest rig with IDF style front buckles salvaged from old LC ruck straps, and utilizing LC-2 Improved Ruck Straps. 7 rows of MOLLE with no spacing and 8 slots per row. This enables me to use ALICE, MOLLE, MALICE and Bianchi UM84 clips if needed. Shown with two different setups. Could do all ALICE or all MOLLE or a mixture. The panels were from my 1000D woodland scraps and heavy OD webbing...

Not as cool as everyone's else's stuff but saw a guy with a single point sling and wanted to put one on my single shot pardoner.... I know it's kinda funny but I picked up the sling from a 2qt canteen bag and put 2 D rings on the strap, and it's alive.. Also made a sling for my mosin, out of a web belt and 1$ adjusting buckle. Something diffrent. And can always go bungie later. plus I got the canteen bag for camping trips. The dog likes to clean us out of water.

Current setups; split front rig now has 3 triples for 9 mags, 2 TT grenade pouches, 2 TT utility pouches, Spec Ops hydration carrier rigged onto the cross straps;

Mini chest rig has 4 pouches total;
1 MOLLE II Shingle triple mag pouch for 3 mags at the ready.
1 M9 mag pouch for leatherman multitool
2x Combat Medic Vest System ammo pouches; modified by slicing off the ALICE style grenade carriers.

Setup is as follows;
6 AR mags, 3 in shingle, 3 in one CMVS ammo pouch;
First aid items in other CMVS ammo pouch and in Mk18 smoke grenade pockets on the CMVS pouches.

AR15 SMERSH styled LBE rig.
The modified MOLLE II FLC (see earlier pics, I removed mesh panels complety)
As the base for this rig.
4x CMVS triple mag pouches; 2 which are modified, 2 which arent.
1x M9 pouch with leatherman tool
2x Canteen covers
2x US Army medic pockets
LBV shoulder pads
1x compass pouch
1x hearing protection case with earplugs
Horizontal sternum/belly strap from CMVS vest I think
I attached the vertical suspension straps to 2" plastic loops that the center MOLLE attachment straps went through on the two pairs of the Triple pouches, similar to the PLCE method. This enabled me to not need to sew up the suspension to the MOLLE FLC panels for now.

That would be pretty cool with MOLLE on the inside (one side) of it so you could attach a holster inside of there. Messenger bag style with easy flip open to grab your CC.

Modified my horizontal 995 20rd magazine rig into a simple plate carrier. Should fit 9x12 plates.. maybe 10x12 (might be a tight fit).
Added panel of 1000D cordura for front upper bib and flap, then used 500D cordura for plate bags. Not sure if I wanna add elastic in the utilities pouches for retention of 10rd mags..
Back bag has MOLLE strips for hydration pouches to attach to..
I think I need a set of armor to test this out and see if it works....

Made a mini chest rig with 1000D cordura 3-color desert fabric scraps from previous projects.... 18"×7" main MOLLE panel, triple AR mag pocket on rear with velcro flaps. X harness system. Shown with SPEAR ELCS single 30rd mag and double 30rd mag pouches, a MBITR pouch, and 2 canteen covers.
6 magazines, whatever radio, can replace 1 canteen with first aid kit if desired in addition to 1qt canteen on other side. Don't have 3-color desert first aid kit pouch or 100rd SAW pouch for same purpose though.

Got bored a while ago, made this at around 12:30 AM one morning. To preface, I hate the East German surplus sling I was using on my AKS-74. It was made of a depressing blue/grey cotton with shiny, silvery hardware and a black leather keeper. It was a good sling, but a bit loud for my taste. It got wet and stayed wet for about a day, that`s the nature of cotton. I also had an Austrian surplus paratroop`s rucksack. It was rubberized, and smelled awful. I cannibalized it for the straps and buckles, and so 2/3 of the components used on my project here are from it:

It`s about 48 inches long, dark green nylon. The buckle was taken from a Blackhawk brand M16 sling and the stitching is waxed dental floss (didn`t want to wake up the house rummaging through drawers).

Hello, heres a bunch of gear I have made or modified myself...using 60s Singer 328K machine. Anyways here they are. In pictures order...
MOLLE FLC modified to accept LBV shoulder pads.

USGI LBV previously shoddily modified with a paintball holster.. now with MOLLE webbing

Older piece here, black chest rig for 400 rds of X39 ammo; SKS 10rd clips or general purpose/first aid kit plus 2 boxes of shotgun shells plus whatever I want to put on the MOLLE/ALICE webbing.. theres a thread on this somewhere.

Micro MOLLE chest rig; first attempt w black h harness straps, then with custom back harness straps connected to camo cfp-90 patrol pack padded straps

Same Micro MOLLE chest rig w desert camo pouches and m9 holster and pistol mags mounted horizontally onto 2 MALICE short clips

Added a back notepad pocket w pen holders and pocket knife clip holder (1"webbing).. 2 pc pocket panel but it is tall and 6" wide. Scraps used here. On Micro chest rig

2 pouches for 12ga shotgun ammo I made before I found the British Desert Osprey vest medic pouch which is the exact same size I needed... I think one could find them in woodland DPM but seems this pattern is everywhere now.

Alternate Micro chest rig set up with a 200rd SAW pouch and on me with view to back showing how the back strap runs.. basically a wider version of the SOE/ATS micro chest rig straps but with padding and lower buckles reversed.

Nice !
That's a good craft to know.

Got bored last night, started on this and added the finishing touches this morning. I always liked the old Soviet drop cases but felt like I could do better. I scrapped the gaiters and instead turned my focus to this. I Cannibalized an old pair of Austrian BDU trousers for the base material. The webbing and buckles came from an Austrian paratroop`s rucksack and the stitching is (mostly) mint-flavored wsxed dental floss.

Built this 4 mag double pouch that can attach via MALICE short clips to MOLLE gear or ALICE clips to LC belt webbing; for hi point 995 20rd magazines. Shown next to Eagle Industries "khaki" 4x4 M4 pouches on a diamondback tactical plate carrier; and also on a MOLLE coyote belt pad.
500D cordura in coyote, ITW buckles, khaki webbing

Bam. Last tactical black rig for a good while. Hybrid of the 90s-2000s split rigs with zippered pockets and mid 2000s triple magazine pockets with MOLLE front and bungee cord retention.
Minimum load; 6 AR mags both USGI and quite likely Pmags (generously sized pockets), could hold 6 AK mags if swap bungees out for longer ones, maybe 308 mags but doubtful.. plus first aid kit in one zippered pocket and whatever random stuff in other.. maybe a pocket survival kit.. maybe a pocket holster.. may need modification to allow install holsters n the like. Simple X harness and back strap. 1000D "Tuf-Stuf" vinyl backed Cordura.
