Now that is a funny concept. North Korea invading the USA. Maybe Attu Island or something. Can you imagine the air power that would hammer any invasion force hitting a West Coast beach. Not to mention the 100,000 Oregon Deer Hunters and crazy black rifle owners lined up along the coast range hopping for a chance to waste the 5K worth of ammo they been stock piling since the first Assault Rifle ban.

Parts of the events that lead up to the invasion are gone over in the pre-release videos. Its decently thought out and plausible if things went "the wrong way".

You're not nearly pessimistic enough, a lot can and will happen between now and 2027. We may well be facing a looming decade or more of stagflation, the social security trust fund is running out, and the health care industry is heading into a bubble which will one day burst.

Further more you assume we get to retain our 2nd amendment rights. It seems highly unlikely Project Gunrunner is going to be this administration's last attempt to create a "crisis" from which to use as a spring board for restrictions, and we have no idea how bad the next administration is going to be, or the one after that.
