I bought a g-17 gen 3 from a member last year and I am not sure what slide he put on the pistol. There are no markings on the slide. I'm looking for a slide to replace the one I have on it. Maybe someone can help me figure out what slide I have and hopefully replace it with a optics cut slide. If you have any extra slides let me know what you have available. I have ammo, guns, scopes and other firearm goodies I can trade.
I will post a picture of the slide and I'm sure one of y'all know what I have thanks.

It looks like a slide that used to be on the p80 website.

I thought that also but found one from Swanson that looks identical. The only difference is that it says Swanson under the slide.
That also looks like a Gen 3 Glock 17 not a Gen 4.

Why do you want to change it? I think it looks pretty good and I am not even a GLOCK guy.

Does it not function well?
I have fired somewhere around 400rds with no issues. It looks and feels like it's made well. But I want to mount a red dot of some kind. Just testing the waters to see if someone has an extra not being used before I take it in to be milled.

This allows you to use the standard rear sight placement to mount a red dot. You just have to pick the one that has the floor plan of the optic you want to run.

Just an option. I ran one of these for awhile while
I was saving to mill a slide https://dueckdefense.com/shop/handguns/glock/rbu-multiple-red-dots/ they work good for the time being if you already have an optic. It bumps the optic up a little higher than I preferred but I have buddies who really like them.

Wow that's pretty cool.
