Political battle lines being drawn as SHOT Show looms

The weather in Las Vegas, where the annual Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT) opens Tuesday, is balmy compared to much of the nation, but today’s edition of USA Today indicated that things are about to heat up for the firearms industry…

The director of ATF is showing up? Last time I was at shot they had 3 ATF reps at the table, 2 of which were arguing with someone citing a law as the reason of their position on his question. Their interpretation of the law they were citing was the opposite of the language of the law. It was on par with quoting the NFA regulations on SBRs and saying that any rifle with a barrel over 16" is illegal unless registered as an NFA item but SBRs are not restricted in any way... :s0131:
