Washington's rank of 40 does not suprise me. Oregon's rank of 8th is shocking. 32 states are worse than Oregon? Really?

I'm sorry, I'm not buying it. I grew up in Alaska and just about anything is legal.

    +1 on Alaska..... Really?

Also Vermont.... Judges have ruled public nudity is constitutional so I am not buying that either.

Okay, I'm with ya. I don't agree with their reasoning for that economic rating. However I have not read every state's write up. Time for some data mining!

How come states with the worst weather are the freest?? I mean how many of you people here would like to be in Northern New Hampshire in mid January? Anyhow, much respect to the "Live Free or Die" state.

NFA Ok and Bar Carry... Simply put, Oregon does have some of best gun laws in the country.. For now...

Oregon is a red city with a blue major city that runs half the state. Nonetheless, Demographics, still work in our favor here. In regards to taxes and mismanagement, well we can thank our blue friends in the Valley for all that mess.

Funny the California and New York, the two states with more "liberals" than any other states are at the bottom of the list. Maybe banning happy meals, military recruiters, and goldfish aren't the way to go
