I think the National Forest are open.
To everyone.
Just don't shoot trees and make sure you have a backstop to stop your bullets.
And pick up your trash and if you can pick up other peoples trash.

Join a club, or go to one of the sportsmans parks. Both Jackson & Josephine county have parks (no steel).

Ashland Gun Club is pretty darned nice, with steel up outside of fire season. Or set your own all year (if your not a moron).

600yds twice a month, 50-300yds daily, plus pistol bays, plus an action bay. Oh and a shotgun paddock. Oh and top notch Archery as well...

Just sayin'

We drive further up the mountain from our dead end road to BLM land or if it's too dry we go to the JoCo Sportsmans range. (Seven bucks includes pistol and/or rifle ranges. It's a great deal.)
