A surprising number of dealers won't do transfers in OR on semi automatic firearms to WA individuals anymore. If there are some that still will, I'd recommend moving quickly.

Yeah i had a hard time doing a regular handgun. Was faster and cheaper after all considerations to get the same pistol in WA

This is the class you need to take before buying a semiautomatic rifle from a dealer in Washington state. It is not required for other types of firearms. It is not required for selling any type of gun.

If you are asking whether you need to transfer guns to the buyer at a licensed gun dealer the answer is yes. There are very few exceptions.
