Just trim the back of the weight to fit the adapter.

The biggest issue with the Law folder is buffer retaining pin clearance.
Mine beats the snot out of the buffer and pin without a shim on the adapter.
An offset retaining pin would fix it too.

Im looking to find a gunsmith in Vancouver\Portland to install folder, My question is FTM says folders is ok , but I had a gunsmith recommend not to do it , citing the possibility of on out of battery because of removing the weight from the bolt?
I put on of these on mine which is a FM upper in 9mm. When I removed the weight from the bolt I used a scale to weigh it and the piece from the LawTac that would replace it. They were the same. So it all works fine. Unless something has changed since I bought mine a couple years ago? Did the "Smith" actually see what you were asking about?
