The answer is probably obvious, but I don't want to keep getting rejections until I get it right.

I filled out a form 5320 to change the permanent address of my machine gun to my new home. This is the first address change since I purchased in the 1980's, so I did a bunch of Internet searches and then filled out the form the way each example showed. Each example I found showed Box 3 to be blank.

It was rejected with the given reason of "Dates".

Doesnt matter now does it. FWIW you are supposed to do the 5320.20 BEFORE you move. Just put some dates next month. Intrastate they really dont care. Make sure you email it in.
