Fishing Festival for Kids and Seniors
col-springs-fish_600-600x315.jpg

Fishing is a Pacific Northwest rite of passage, and Columbia Springs wants to share the tradition with you and your family. Join them at their Fishing Festival on May 6, where they'll provide the poles, tackle, fishing experts, and even the fish from the Vancouver Trout Hatchery; you simply provide the fishers!

Kids Fishing Festival features fishing for kids ages 5-14, plus a BBQ lunch, and nature activities for the whole family on Saturday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be as Senior Fishing Festival which will feature fishing for seniors age 60 and over, activities, and a tour of the trout hatchery. Tickets are selling out fast, so get yours today! Tickets are $7 each for both festivals. Want to help get others in our community out fishing? You can donate to help fund free tickets for low-income children and seniors. Tickets and information can be found at columbiasprings.org.

Kids Fishing Festival is supported in part by Clark Public Utilities. The Senior Fishing Festival is presented by Friends of the Elder Justice Center and the Northwest Steelheaders. Support for both events is also provided by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Columbia Springs is a nonprofit organization located at 12208 SE Evergreen Hwy in Vancouver.
