Hmm not as much as you'd think. Keep an eye out for specials. The real trick is to buy what you will eat. Not necessarily what you eat day to day now, but stuff that you will find palatable when your working harder than normal under stress.

AND food that won't wreak havoc with your system. Trial & error.

Now 40g of bulk freeze dried? Not such a great idea IMO. 40g worth of #10 cans, or 1g vacuum packed bulk? Sure.
