food deydrator

    Just wondering if anyone has a suggestion for an economical dehydrator for under a 100? Will just be for light duty so I don't really need anything commercial grade. Thanks!

    Amazon has great deals. I got a Nesco for $40.00 Works great. Or like granma used a lightbulb in a cardboard box.

    The Nesco isn't bad. I've seen them on sale at Bi-Mart for $30. I got mine for jerky at first, now I use it for a lot more.

    I've had a Nesco Gardenmaster for nearly 20 years and it's worked great the entire time. I bought 4 extra trays to increase the volume. I also have the Snack master kit so I can make yogurt and leathers too. Pretty good system for the price.

    Nesco is a great brand. I have a dehydrator that doesn't get a whole lot of use, but I've had it for over 10 years and it still works great. I also have about a 50 year old roaster from them that still works like a charm every Thanksgiving and Christmas.
