Expect $350 for Imbel kits.
SLR-5000 has refinished Brit kits for $600

Okay, total newbie question: what does a kid not include? Just a stripped lower, typically?

Usualy no lower receiver, or a cut lower receiver, like all kits you need to purchase a lower from a FFL so it can be pappered.BATF reg

on the FN FAL the Upper is the part considered the "Rifle" the lowers dont matter, and you should get a good lower with the kit

I've bought lots of fal parts from him. Located in Ridgefield, WA.

Good guy to work with. Looks like he has some kits in stock. Everything but the Upper reciever.

Stick with Imbel, DSA, or Enterprise for your reciever, and save yourself a lot of time fitting and filing.
