This man is the real deal -- a lifelong public servant who speaks from experience and his own expertise. He also ran the Portland Police Department before moving back to Detroit (consequently my home town). Ok, it was Portland, Maine. But wow we could have used him in our Portland!
He's also running for governor of Michigan. I think he has a real shot. No pun intended.
