If I lived in Oregon, I would send a comment that would read somewhat like the following:

It is saddening to learn of Sen. Steiner Hayward's affliction of multiple sclerosis. It is a malady I might wish only on my worst enemy. However, Sen. Steiner Hayward admits in her own words to being also afflicted with depression for which she has apparently developed a self-described serious drug dependency. Sen. Steiner Hayward also proclaims that she has "weapons" in her house. In the context, her cache of weapons must include firearms. Sen. Prozanski, when will you be confiscating your colleague's firearms and other lethal weapons to protect the public?

Nasty and over-the-top, isn't it?
